Welcome to Another Audit Lyfe in BPK RI :)

Gambar
Hi there! Yes, it was such loonng time agoo before I wrote again in this blog. I'm so sorry because last year is a hectic year for me since I was accepted to work at The Audit Board of The Republic of Indonesia (Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan RI or BPK RI). After that, since February 2019 until November 2019, I was involved in so many training and development activities in my institution. So, what do you think about my position in BPK RI? Auditor again? 100 points! Lol What makes me want to be an auditor again this time? Actually when I resigned from KPMG, I realised that I couldn't do anything better than audit. And I had so many times to think about what my actual passion is. After I resigned from KPMG, I tried to enter a consulting firm, and I firstly thought that I will be comfortable in it since some friends of mine said that working in the consulting firm is a lot better than in public accounting firm. And like what I stated in my last post ("My Experience as A Finance Co...

My Experience as A Finance Consultant

Hi there! Now I would like to tell you about my short experience as a finance consultant at Accounting Development Center FEB UI (Faculty of Economic and Business University of Indonesia). I said it as a "short" experience because I had worked there for only 4 months, since November 2018 until February 2018.  As you know, my previous job was an auditor at KPMG. There are a lot of differences that I have found between an auditor and a consultant, yet there are also some similarities between these two.  The similarities are as follows : Both of these jobs require us to adapt to the new working environment easily since almost every month we will be placed to the new client engagements.  Both of these jobs also have a tight deadline so we will get used to working overnight.  The differences between these two are :  As an auditor, sometimes we will find any conflicts with our clients. It's very common because the nature of our job is to make sure th...

Hi there! Here I'd like to post something again on my blog after so looooonggg time ago wkwkw :D. So here it is!! As what I said before, I have a plan to continue my study abroad in 2019. However, actually, I think that I should wait one year until 2020 to accomplish my study since I have been accepted as an Auditor in Audit Board of Indonesia (Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia). It should be a great news until I found that I should delay my study to 2020. I was very sad but then I think maybe it is the best way to accomplish my dream. Why? What's make me very sad? Because in November 2018, I  also get a notification that I have been accepted in Australian National University. Yay!! I chose Master of Accounting program there and I could not be any happier than when I get the news. My lecturer once said to me that Australian National University has the best Accounting program in Asia Pasific. I really didn't expect that I 'll be accepted here since many frie...

Book Review - 4.50 From Paddington

Gambar
Hello All!  Today, I'm going to give you a review of a novel titled "4.50 From Paddington". Actually, it is a novel written by Agatha Christie, one of my favorite novelist. This novel, same with the novel that I had reviewed before, has a mystery genre. I was curious about this novel since I have watched a movie titled Paddington. Well, it has no relation to this novel wkwkwk, but the title caught me in this way. I failed to guess the culprit in a novel that I have read before. However, I also failed in this novel. The story began when Elspeth McGillicuddy, a friend of Jane Marples, see a murder in the train. However, when she told the train-officer about the incident, the train-officer thought that Elspeth was not in a good visual and probably imagining this incident in her mind. Jane Marples, who is a genius detective, believe on her friend. She also helped her friend to tell the police that there was a murder of a woman by a tall and dark man. The police rec...

However, I heard that Walt Disney will create the fifth series in 2019. Today I'm gonna review the first series of this movie which was aired in 1995. Basically nothing special about this movie, but I just want to watch it to improve my listening. Here the story of this movie : Andy is a three years old kid which has so many kinds of toys in his room. One of them is Woody, a cowboy toy which could say some sentences when Andy pull the seed behind Woody's body. Woody is the most favorite toy for Andy and all toys respect Woody because of it.  However, in a morning, Woody heard that Andy will be moved to a new place. After that, Woody also heard that Andy's birthday party will be held on that day. Then, Woody announced it to his friends and he told them to search a friend as a move-friend. He also told them...
